Enzymatically active, full length recombinant human SMARCA2 Remodeling Enzyme (BRM, UniProt reference no. P51531-2) produced in SF9 cells. SMARCA2 is the catalytic subunit of the SWI/SNF complex. It is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling enzyme that regulates nucleosome spacing.

Technical Information

SMARCA2 in 25 mM HEPES pH 7.6, 300 mM NaCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 10% glycerol, 1 mM DTT, 0.4 mM PMSF, 0.1 mM benzamidine, 0.4 mg/mL recombinant human insulin.
Storage and Stability:
Stable for six months -80°C from date of receipt. For best results, aliquot and avoid multiple freeze/thaws.

Application Notes

This product is sufficient to perform 100 remodeling reactions using EpiDyne®-FRET substrate (EpiCypher 16-4201). A single reaction is defined as 10 µL containing [20 nM SMARCA2, 20 nM EpiDyne®-FRET, 1 mM rATP] and remodels to completion in <30 minutes. 5x SMARCA Remodeling Assay Buffer is included (EpiCypher 21-0014).
