Funding challenges are a reality for many researchers, and we want to make sure innovation doesn’t slow down because of it. That’s why our team has introduced major updates to CUTANA™ CUT&Tag assays — making them more streamlined, affordable, and accessible than ever before.
Behind these improvements is years of refinement by our development and production teams, who continually optimize protocols and manufacturing efficiency to improve quality and reduce costs. We’re passing those savings directly to the scientific community—staying true to our For Scientists, By Scientists ethos and helping make advanced chromatin profiling accessible to every lab.
1. New CUT&Tag Kit (24 Reactions)
Our new 24-reaction CUTANA™ CUT&Tag Kit delivers the same trusted performance as the full-size version in a smaller, more accessible format. This option is perfect for pilot studies, smaller projects, or exploring new targets before scaling up.
2. Price Drop! Save $300 on the 48-Reaction CUT&Tag Kit
Improvements in protocol design and production efficiency have made CUTANA™ CUT&Tag Kits more affordable, without compromising data quality. The 48-reaction kit price has been reduced by $300, helping researchers stretch their budgets while maintaining the same trusted performance.
3. CUT&Tag Kit v4 Improvements
Both the 24-reaction and 48-reaction CUT&Tag kits now feature our latest v4 updates, which introduce several improvements to simplify your workflow and boost consistency:
- New nuclei resuspension guidance to better preserve samples
- Modified post-tagmentation handling to increase yield for difficult targets
- New Wash Buffer Enhancers to reduce sample clumping and improve bead handling
4. Wash Buffer Enhancer Set Now Available Separately
The new Wash Buffer Enhancer Set provides an immediate performance boost across CUT&Tag and CUT&RUN workflows. Now available as a standalone product, it’s ideal for both DIY users or anyone who already has CUTANA™ kits on hand — so you can upgrade performance right away, without waiting for your next kit purchase.
Key benefits:
- Improves bead handling and reduces clumping
- Enhances reproducibility and simplifies sample processing
- Compatible with both CUT&Tag and CUT&RUN workflows
In CUT&Tag, following overnight incubation with primary antibody, tubes were placed on a magnetic rack. Images show tubes before (Panel A) or after (Panel B) removal of supernatant. The sample processed without Wash Buffer Enhancers shows cloudy supernatant, poorly defined pellet boundaries, and increased sample adherence to tube walls, indicating bead aggregation and inefficient magnetic bead separation. The sample with CUTANA™ Wash Buffer Enhancer Set shows sharply defined pellet formation, minimal supernatant cloudiness, and reduced adherence to plastic surfaces, reflecting the improved bead dispersion and handling enabled by the Wash Buffer Enhancers.
Together, these updates make CUT&Tag assays more accessible and efficient for researchers at every scale, from pilot projects to large chromatin mapping studies. Visit the CUTANA™ CUT&Tag page for more product info.
