QC your Fiber-seq samples like the EpiExperts.
EpiCypher partnered with Plasmidsaurus to develop the Fiber-seq QC for 6mA Service, a fast and low-cost method to verify that your CUTANA™ Fiber-seq experiment is on track before performing deeper sequencing.
What you can do with QC sequencing:
🧬 Validate your workflow
Confirm your Fiber-seq samples are properly labeled with 6mA before you invest in deep sequencing.
⚡️ Get fast results
QC sequencing results are delivered to your inbox in 2–5 business days and are interpretable in less than a day, so your experiment keeps moving.
🎯 Optimize your experiment
QC sequencing allows you to quickly and affordably assess 6mA labeling quality across samples and conditions, which is ideal for adapting Fiber-seq to new sample types.

The Fiber-seq QC Workflow
Send Labeled DNA
Send a portion of your CUTANA™ Fiber-seq 6mA-labeled genomic DNA directly to Plasmidsaurus. No library prep is required on your end.
Sequence & Delivery
Plasmidsaurus performs shallow long-read sequencing using Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) and delivers results within 2–5 business days.
Analyze & Act
Review your QC data to confirm 6mA labeling quality and decide whether to proceed to deep sequencing or refine labeling conditions.

Common Questions
What can I expect back from QC sequencing?
Plasmidsaurus returns a report with relevant information related to your sequencing run, as well as FASTQ and BAM files with base modification calls. These BAM files are ready for alignment and QC analysis. See our Tech Support page for detailed data analysis instructions.
How do I analyze my Fiber-seq QC data?
QC data analysis follows the same initial steps as a full Fiber-seq dataset. Because QC sequencing returns ~100Mb of data, analysis can typically be completed in under a day on most personal computers. See our Tech Support page for detailed instructions.
Looking for full Fiber-seq sequencing?
No problem! Plasmidsaurus also offers deep Fiber-seq sequencing using Oxford Nanopore Technologies. Submission details can be found here. Prefer PacBio? Get in touch with our sales team and we’ll help you find the right option.
