Affinty purified antibody to SETD6. SETD6 is a SET domain-containing lysine methyl-transferase that monomethylates the RelA subunit of NF-kB at lysine 310. Methylation of RelA inactivates it, attenuating RelA-dependant transcriptional pathways, including inflammatory responses in primary immune cells. SETD6 is downregulated in a diseases of hyper inflammation. SETD6 has also been reported to have other nuclear substrates.
