Duties:

  • Candidate’s primary responsibility will be interacting with customers to provide applications and sales support at a high level of expertise to drive growth of EpiCypher’s diverse catalog products and services.
  • Demonstrate EpiCypher’s technical credibility in consultations with customers (technical support) and potential customers (sales support) on technical support inquiries, product application questions and service project/assay designs.
  • Act as a technical liaison between external customers, KOLs, collaborators, partners and internal R&D, services and manufacturing teams.
  • Maintain and manage a Technical Support working group at the company that responds to daily inbound technical questions from customers, and build an accessible products and applications knowledge database.
  • Develop and present product application training presentations for customers and global distributors.
  • Deliver technical talks highlighting key value propositions in person, through webinars, video posts and at conferences and tradeshows.
  • Work with product management, R&D, marketing and field sales to develop and execute sales strategy and tactics.
  • Partner closely with Sales Executives and CSO to generate, qualify, quote and close sales opportunities.
  • Additional technical sales and support-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry or a related field. Graduate-level conceptual knowledge of chromatin biology, epigenetics and/or epigenomics is required.
  • Two or more years post-graduate research or work experience is preferred. Direct experience and publication record with ChIP - NGS (or comparable genomic technologies, e.g. ATAC-seq) is a huge plus.
  • Prior employment in a commercial technical sales or support setting preferred but not essential.

  • Provide daily customer-facing support for Sales and Customer Service by participating in direct customer communication, quotations and order fulfillment processes. Perform direct quote and order follow-up customer email communications. Partner closely with Sales Executives to close sales opportunities.
  • Become user-fluent in our sales-related CRM, eCommerce and accounting platforms. Responsible for customer database management in Sales Force, including contact research, entries, changes, reports and maintenance. Actively participate in customer database building and lead generation projects.
  • Responsible for entering daily orders into Sales Force and maintaining the integrity of the sales data and reporting within the platform. Play a central role in the creation and generation of regular Sales reports.
