Duties:

  • Candidate will be directly responsible for the analysis of next generation sequencing data (e.g. CUT&RUN, ChIP-seq, etc).
  • Candidate will manage data backups, perform custom data analysis for customers, and deliver sequencing analysis packages to customers.
  • Candidate will also develop, validate and update best-practices pipelines for ChIP-seq, epigenetics and related methods.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field with two or more years data analysis experience (or MS with at least one year). Prior employment in a commercial science setting strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Linux OS, installing packages, bash scripting, etc are required.
  • 2+ years of Python programming, data visualization, ability to read and modify source code strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrate technical credibility in consultations with customers on technical support questions, product applications and service project/assay designs.
  • Candidate will develop, validate and update best-practices pipelines for ChIP-seq, epigenetics and related methods.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD with 2+ years of both dry and wet lab experience.
  • Prior employment in a commercial science setting strongly preferred.
