Recombinant BAZ2B Bromodomain Description: Recombinant human BAZ2B Bromodomain (WALp4, accession Q9UIF8, amino acids 2041 to 2168) containing an N-terminal GST tag, expressed in E. coli. BAZ2B is an bromodomain protein that has been shown to interact with acetylated lysines on histone H3. BAZ2B also contains a PHD finger and an MBD (methylated DNA binding) domain.
Recombinant BAZ2B Bromodomain Formulation: Recombinant GST-tagged protein at 1 mg/ml in 20 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 200 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 20% glycerol.
Storage and Stability: Stable for six months at -80°C from date of receipt. For best results, aliquot and avoid multiple freeze/thaws.
Application Notes: Recombinant BAZ2B Bromodomain is useful for protein binding and screening experiments examining acetylated protein substrates.
