BRD9 Bromodomain, Recombinant Human Description: BRD9 Bromodomain, Recombinant Human (Bromodomain-containing protein 9, Rhabdomyosarcoma antigen MU-RMS-40.8, accession number Q9H8M2, amino acids 130 - 250) containing an N-terminal GST tag, expressed in E. coli. In addition to binding to acetylated histone proteins, the bromodomain (BD) of BRD9 has been reported to bind butyryllysine as well. BRD9 is reported to be part of SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complexes in leukemic cells and inhibition of BRD9 BD binding has an anti-proliferative effect on these cells.
BRD9 Bromodomain, Recombinant Human Formulation: Recombinant GST-tagged protein at 1 mg/ml in 50 mM TRIS pH 8.4, 250 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 20% glycerol.
BRD9 Bromodomain, Recombinant Human Storage and Stability: Lyophilized proteins are stable for 2 years at -20°C from date of shipment. Reconstitute with sterile distilled water and aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Stable for 6 months at -80°C after reconstitution.
BRD9 Bromodomain, Recombinant Human Application Notes: BRD9 Bromodomain, Recombinant Human is useful for protein binding and screening experiments examining acylated (acetyl and butyryl) protein and peptide substrates.
