Recombinant ACF1 / BAZ1A Bromodomain Description: Recombinant human ACF1 Bromodomain (BAZ1A, WCRF180, accession Q9NRL2, amino acids 1412 to 1551) containing an N-terminal GST tag, expressed in E. coli. ACF1 is a component of the ACF complex, an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex, that regulates spacing of nucleosomes. It is also part of the CHRAC complex which facilitates nucleosome sliding by the ACF complex and enhances ACF-mediated chromatin assembly. ACF1 may be involved in nuclear receptor-mediated repression of transcription through its interaction with NCOR1.
Recombinant ACF1 / BAZ1A Bromodomain Formulation: Recombinant GST-tagged protein at 1 mg/ml in 20 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 200 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 20% glycerol.
Storage and Stability: Stable for six months at -80°C from date of receipt. For best results, aliquot and avoid multiple freeze/thaws.
Application Notes: Recombinant ACF1 / BAZ1A Bromodomain is useful for protein binding and screening experiments examining acetylated protein substrates.
